![]() ![]() On installation, it offered free usage till first 14 days limited to converting titles to mp3 format. So for this purpose only, I searched on Google and came across TuneFab. I felt maybe if I can listen to the audible book on an mp3 player which does not support internet streaming or audible app. I just wanted to convert an.aax file(audible file), though I have already purchased the specific audible book and it's downloaded in my audible library. I'm doubtful they'll answer based on everyone's responses. I've emailed paddle because this is where my original receipt with the product key came from. They're either unaware they've completely wrecked their end product for Mac users or they've sold their company to scammers who have no intention of enabling a working product. The preset paths to menus and websites reroutes you to unrelated or unhelpful pages. The latest update stripped the user side of things so I can no longer enter a product key, so my LIFETIME product is useless. I get an error message "You are offline now, failed to get music" My internet is fine, the speakers are set to the correct setting, the file path is correct, the player will play music so it's connected to the wifi as no tracks are downloaded. Over the past 6 months it started working less and less, today it no longer works. I've owned the Mac version of TuneFab since Feb 20,2021, 11:39 AM (per my receipt). For TuneFab, I tried one release that had 193 tunes and, so far, (because it's taken over 14 hours time), it has converted 175 of them (BTW, even with so many tunes from one release, it's possible to just divide it up into, say, 4 batches and it would STILL take less time than TuneFab).Īnyway, I wish them luck, but they really do need to check out some other converters that are out there and dig deeper into how they are able to get around these ridiculous aspects of their own software. The only thing that TunePat does poorly is that it hangs if you have too many tunes to convert from one release - usually over 50 or so tunes. Maybe they need to dissect some TunePat software to find out what they're doing correctly. The thing that's most frustrating about the "cons" above is that all of them don't exist on another converter that I use: it doesn't make you ask for a new key whenever you make computer changes it converts extremely quickly (over 10X) on a Mac and you don't have any new driver additions that hijack your audio, so I know that it can be done. It adds a virtual audio driver that completely disables all of your other audio, so if you want to listen to anything on your computer while it's doing it's "real time" conversion, then you're out of luck. The fact that you only get 1:1 time transfer on a Mac, but are able to get as fast as 16X on a Windows machine just demonstrates lazy inattention to a brand of computer that comes from a 2 TRILLION dollar company.Practically nobody does this ancient method anymore. ![]() You need to be sent a new license key if you ever change or reinstall your computer. You can convert a large number of tunes in one sitting. The support team quickly responds to your questions and is friendly when doing so. ![]() If you get the message "You are offline now, failed to get music" update 13.07 (or something?) is needed as of 06/30/23. The update took less than a minute and I restarted just in case. ****UPDATE**** A patch box popped up when I tried it this morning. ![]()
